To this end, a modular system for advisory and dialogue processes has been developed. The aim of the sustainability assessment is to identify approaches, courses of action and priority areas through which sustainable regional structural change can be mapped, assessed and expanded via bioeconomic value creation systems.<\/p>\n<p>This guide provides insights into the conceptual and methodological foundations of the NaGeWe-Bio sustainability assessment for value creation systems. The aim is to present the content-related systematics, the theoretical assumptions, and the structure and logic of the tool in a transparent manner and to provide a technical justification for them. To this end, the procedure for carrying out the sustainability assessment is described step by step.
