Accordingly, the alliance meetings play an important role for networking, information exchange, idea generation, project partner search, formulation of needs for action and political advocacy as well as for the strategic development of the alliance.<\/p>\n<p>The official kick-off of the alliance took place on 27.06.2019 with 74 participants.<\/p>\n<p>On 19.05.2021, the \"1st Plant\u00b3 Innovation Forum\" took place as an online event with almost 100 participants and included the establishment of the focus groups. The keynote speech by Dr Martin Langer (BRAIN AG) on innovations as drivers for a sustainable bioeconomy was followed by five impressive best practice examples from Plant\u00b3 member companies, a virtual tour of a paludiculture tiny house and insights into ongoing Plant\u00b3 projects.
