NaGeWe-Bio<\/h3>\n\t

In May 2023, the Plant3-<\/sup>Project \"NaGeWe-Bio - Development and testing of holistic sustainability checks for business models and value creation systems in bioeconomy regions\" started. The project is headed by Prof. Dr. Daniel Schiller and is being worked on by Lina Singelmann at the Chair of Economic and Social Geography at the University of Greifswald from May 2023 to December 2025. The \"Beratungskontor Rolf Kammann\" is supporting the project with the collaboration of Katja Gallinowski.<\/p>\n

As part of the further development of the innovation strategy of the WIR! alliance Plant3<\/sup> (Plant\u00b3-\"RIIS\"), four focus fields were identified in which there is particular potential for innovation-based structural change in the project region: Construction Materials, Food, Food Supplements and Feed, Bioplastics and Packaging, and Fine Chemicals and Phytopharmaceuticals. A comprehensive assessment of these focus fields in terms of their contribution to regional structural change and sustainability has not yet been carried out, though, for the associated value creation systems or for the underlying business models.<\/p>\n

In this context, the aim of the project \"NaGeWe-Bio\" is to develop and test a sustainability assessment tool for business models and value creation systems of the bioeconomy in economic, ecological and social dimensions. This is to be realised using the example of existing and planned projects in north-eastern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Plant3<\/sup>-project region). In addition, the results are to be prepared in a form that can be transferred to other regions. The integrated consideration of the individual company perspective of bioeconomy companies and associated value creation systems enables the evaluation of business models in the context of regional structural change and supplements systemic sustainability considerations of the bioeconomy with entrepreneurial and regional perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t
