LAND-MOOR-MEER-Challenge
The LAND-MOOR-MEER-Challenge was a project of the Plant³ Treibhaus, the Plant³ Innovation Management and StapellaufNord°Ost°. In spring/summer 2022, we invited creative young people from all over Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to participate in our LAND-MOOR-MEER-Challenge and to develope solutions to "challenges" identified by entrepreneurs, communal representatives and scientists in our region.
The challenges were related to new products, technologies and services in the areas of (1) building materials, (2) food, food supplements & animal feed, (3) bioplastics & packaging and (4) fine chemicals & phytopharmaceuticals that can be sustainably produced with regional raw materials from LAND, MOOR and MEER.
The topics of the four teams were:
- how to market sundew as a VIP (Very Important Plant)
- how to set up a machine-sharing station for the production and manufacture of hemp
- how to promote the use of algae
- how to create a suitable marine packaging for marine cosmetic products
On 10th June, the four teams presented their proposed solutions to regional entrepreneurs and the public at an inspiring finale of the LAND-MOOR-MEER-Challenge.
