BioÖkoSim
The aim of the project is to design and implement a digital business game for the strategic development of the bioeconomy. "BioÖkoSim" builds on the initial project "Treibhaus", in which methods for initiating and promoting start-ups, supporting and strengthening existing companies and networking bioeconomy companies were innovated and tested.
“BioÖkoSim" is a simulation planning game that enables strategy-based competence promotion. The starting point is the region of north-eastern Germany, whose strategic development into a bioeconomy region the players can help shape. The central goal here is the sustainability of the alliance activities, which is expressed both in a long-term use, i.e. beyond the funding period of Plant3 (continuation), and in a roll-out of the findings to other regions. For this, it will be necessary to communicate the findings in an appealing, exciting, innovative and condensed form. This is where "BioÖkoSim" comes in, because this also implies the use of "new media", whereby the contemporary interaction between people and modern technical systems is taken into account.
Company founders, companies interested in strengthening bioeconomic production, as well as students of the bioeconomy and pupils in A-level classes as future performance and decision makers in the bioeconomy can work on entrepreneurial challenges in a game at "BioÖkoSim", which has enormous potential. This is because games can lead to new, unconventional ways of seeing and approaching things, combine different methods and offer the chance for the idea bearer/company to produce unexpected results.
"BioÖkoSim" is being developed in a network consisting of two partners:
