Various processes can be applied in the cultivation and processing of biomass within bioeconomic value creation systems. The range of processes extends from specialised cultivation techniques to product refinement and packaging. Depending on the analytical focus and objectives, it may be appropriate to consider only selected processes in the analysis. It is also possible to assign a selection of processes to the respective value creation stages that are the focus of the assessment.
